Holymoorside Pre-school

Established in the 1960’s, Holymoorside Pre-School is a friendly community group, based in Holymoorside Village Hall. All staff hold a full and relevant approved level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare, as well as up to date paediatric first aid and safeguard training. Staff regularly complete CPD training to maintain high quality childcare and meet the evolving needs of young children.

Children are able to attend the setting from their second birthday until they start school. We accept government funding for all children who are eligible, the term after the child’s second birthday. Children who are not eligible are still more than welcome and can pay our reasonable fees – paid each half term.

We work towards the Early Years Foundation stage statutory framework, aiming to provide a happy, safe and nurturing home from home environment with play at the heart of learning.

Pre-School operates during term time only: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8.45 – 12.30.
